વર દેવા મુજને આ જીવનમાં
તો વર દેજે એવું કે

God is the only one, who really exists and
To support everything, seems to be HIS goal.
Everything else emanates from HIM.
Every pebble, every tree and every soul.
Things that are born must certainly die
They exist for a while to play a certain role.
As pebbles and sand support the trees
And trees provide food and shelter for all.
Man is the only one who really cheats,
And tries to break every rule of this game.
He thinks he can control every thing he sees,
Just for a lousy little gain or a little fame.
Yes, he is endowed with intellect and freewill
So he thinks amongst others he is the best.
But this intellect breeds arrogance and pride
And with his freewill he ruins the rest.
Intellect and freewill,very precious to man,
Are they truly a blessing or a hidden curse?
I ponder a lot, that without both of them
Could he have really done any worst?
And if you want an answer from me
For the question I just asked,
I will say nothing other than
It’s a curse, it’s a curse, it’s a curse.

સમય,સંપત્તિ અને આબરુ આ ત્રણ પ્રકારનું નાણું જીવનની પ્રગતિ માટે ઘણું ઉપયોગી થઇ પડે છે. અને દરેક વ્યકિત પાસે આ ત્રણે વધતા ઓછા પ્રમાણમાં હોય જ છે. છતાં એક વાત યાદ રાખવી જરુરી છે કે સંપત્તિ અને આબરુ મેળવવી અને કેળવવી આપણા હાથની વાત છે. પણ સમયનું નાણું તો જન્મતી વખતે જમા થઇ ગયું હોય છે. અને તે ધીરે ધીરે ખરચાતું જ રહે છે.તેને જીવની બેન્કમાં બચાવી કે પાછું મેળવી શકાતું નથી. છતાં આ નાણાનું આપણે કયાં, કયારે અને કેવી રીતે રોકાણ કર્યું છે તે પ્રમાણે તેના વ્યાજ રુપે સુખ કે દુઈખ મળે છે.દરેક વ્યકિતને પોતાનો સમય કેમ ખરચવો એ માટે પુરી સ્વતંત્રતા છે જ પણ બીજાનો સમય વગર કારણે બગાડવાનો કોઇને હક નથી. આતો કોઇના સમય ધનની ચોરી કરવા બરાબર ગણાય.આપણે બધા જ હિન્દવાસીઓ ગરજ કે ભય ન હોય તો કશે સમયસર પહોંચતા નથી. તો આપણે પણ ચોર જ કહેવાઇએ ને?

આપણા બે પગ – ડાબો અને જમણો
દંપતિના બે પગ – પતિ અને પત્ની
અહંના બે પગ – મન અને બુદ્ધિ
સંસારાના બે પગ – સમાજ અને વ્યકિત
સૃષ્ટિના બે પગ – પુરુષ અને પ્રકૃતિ
આ બે પગ જો ચાલવામાં એક બીજાને
સહાય ન કરે અને ચાલવામાં સુસંવાદિતા
ન રાખે તો
બને ચાલ બેઢંંગી

‘ને પરાગ વીના થાયે બીજ કયાંથી ?
ન હોય બીજ તો ઉગે કેમ વૃક્ષો
વૃક્ષો ન ઉગે તો વનરાઇ કયાંથી ?
વનરાઇ પોશે સહુ પ્રાણીઓને
ન પોશાય પ્રાણી તો માનવી કયાંથી ?
જે સાચવે છે આ પર્યાવરણને
તે પુષ્પો ઉગે છે પ્રભુની કૃપાથી
તો કહો
માનવી પ્રભુને પથ્થર બનાવી
હણી પુષ્પો તે ‘પર ચઢાવે શાથી ?

જો તમે સદાય વ્યસ્ત રહેશો,
‘ને મળતો નથી સમય મને
ઍમ સહુને કહેતા ફરશો,
તો આવશે સમય મળવા સામો
તે દિ કહો તમે શું કહેશો?

Why those clouds make thunder!
Who makes these birds to fly!
Who gave me my body,
Who came and kindled my life!
Where from comes my laughter
And who controls my cries!
From where, came all my senses,
From where did come my mind!
I wonder how in my little mind
Both friends and foes can hide.
Whoever made this wonderful world
Does HE really like to hide?
No. But only when my ego is gone
HE will be smiling by my side.

ભૂલો સુધારી
જીતી ગયા છો
હાર સ્વિકારી લેજો
ગળે પહેરી
બાળક હસે
રહે મન માતાનું
હર્ષ વિભોર
કલપ કેશે
કીધો છતંા મુખડું
લાગે ઘરડું
તો શાને કાજે
વેડફી પૈસા કરો
બેલન્સ ઓછું
પંાચ સાત ‘ને
પંાચ અક્ષરો વડે
બને હાયકુ
લીખું હાયકુ ?
આતા નહીં લીખના
લીખું કાયકુ ?
